Albert REILLY Obituary

REILLY

Albert beloved husband of Pam, father to Sarah, Bronxville, New York, and Richard, daughter in law, Christie, and granddaughters Montana and Mia Reilly, of Cincinnati, passed away October 17th, 2013. Al was the former President and CEO of Rough Brothers, a greenhouse manufacturing firm in St. Bernard. He was a proud father and grandfather. Al cherished his fifty years with his wife Pam. One of his college friends described Al as a "very fine athlete, and most importantly, a man of deep faith and rock -solid values. He built a great family and a great business and was a respected leader in his community. Al leaves behind in cities across America stunning, soaring, structures that house beauty and nourish life. A football player who never stopped loving the game and a pole vaulter who never flinched at any challenge, he has cleared life's highest bar with courage and grace." He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at Holy Cross Immaculata Church, 30 Guido Street, 45202, at 10:00 am. Parking for the event will be at the Church and also at the Monastary, 1055 St. Paul Place, 45202. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Albert Reilly to the Ronald McDonald House, 350 Erkenbrecher Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229

I met Al for the first time 31 years ago to inspect a Greenhouse. He taught me what to look for and kept on teaching me thereafter. Will miss him greatly ! God bless his family.

Dear Pam,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Al's passing. My dad, Jack Klaasen, had tremendous respect for Al. He wore the Green Rough Bros. jacket that Al gave him until the day he died.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Pam, Rich & Sarah,
There are no words that I can say that will ease your pain. Please accept the words, "I am sorry."
I met Al when he and his family moved to Wyoming. Over the years our friendship grew and I watched as he and Pam raised Rich & Sarah. I watched Al grow a company and then pass it on to Rich. Al, you must be proud of Rich as he has done a great job of growing what you started into a successful business.
Al and Pam moved away to the hills of Mt. Adams and we lost contact for the past several years. But, my respect for the Reilly family never wavered. They may have been out of sight, but never out of mind.
Al, you will always be (as my daughter Rachel says), "the best looking dad there ever was in Wyoming".
Rest in peace my friend and may your memory be for a blessing. Thanks for being my friend.

Stuart
