Bill Epps Obituary
Bill passed away on July 13, 2016 at the age of 66. Bill was born on October 12, 1949 to Wallace and Marjorie Epps (nee Norred). He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Epps and his brother, Jim Epps. Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Katie Epps, his mother, Marjorie Epps, his brothers, John, Ricky and Bobby Epps. Bill attended college at Furman University, as well as graduate school at UC. He had a passion for golfing, he had many friends within his golf league. He was a loving father, brother, son and friend. Bill loved his family and will be missed very dearly. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the backyard of Bill's home. To leave condolences, please visit:

MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO BILL'S DAUGHTER, MOTHER AND FAMILY. GOD BLESS YOU ALL: I WORKED IN THE AOS DEPARTMENT AT THE CENTRAL COMMUNITY HEALTH BOARD WHERE BILL WAS THE SUPERVISOR. I HAVE WORKED WITH BILL SINCE 2007/HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

I will miss Bill. He was a joy to work with and provided a wealth of knowledge in the field of Behavioral Sciences. Bill was a stand-up guy who was able to get along with anyone who crossed his path. I must admit that he is one of the very few people who was actually a mentor and educator in his chosen field. I guess I will see you later on down the road my friend.

Some sad news: A former faculty member, Bill Epps, passed away last week. Bill was a full-time faculty member in the late 1970s and taught part-time in the evening (while doing full-time clinical work) for many years after that. Despite having a day job, Bill was always full of energy in his evening classes. Evening classes typically end at 9:00 p.m., and one could frequently find Bill still lecturing away at 8:59! Bill had a great sense of humor, too. One seldom had an interaction with him that didn't include a smile. We miss Bill, and we will remember him fondly.
