I'll always remember talking with you and the Wilhelus's after Mass at St. Lawrence then going out to Price Hill Chili.

Today and last night I had the privilege of attending the layout, Mass, and gravesite services for Carl. What a beautiful celebration of a great man's life! And it was so good to meet, again, members of the Stein Family, and some I met for the very first time.
My late husband Dan and I loved Carl and were honored to know him. I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Sincerely,
Gayle Boller

My heartfelt sympathy to you Jenny and David, and the rest of the Stein family. I know what an incredible feeling of loss you must be feeling right now and also know that words can not ease the pain. You are surrounded by the love of so many and you now have another guardian angel in heaven whom you know personally. We love you.

I considered Carl more than my first cousin, a brother. His life is an example of what family love and devotion is. He was very thought to the entire extended Boller and Stein families.

I considered Carl the Boller Family historian. He provided the connection to family members talked about in family tradition and family photos.

He travel with Catherine and his daughters to Jackson, TN for my daughters wedding. He provided the family linkage to all the Boller family at her and my son's weddings. I dearly appreciated his and his family presence at our daughter's and our son's wedding.

Carl was devoted to his Lord and Savior. He shows this love through his work in his Church live. His life is the example of the light upon the lamp stand for all to see the goodness of his Lord and Savior.

Mr. Stein was always a gentle soul to me when I was growing up at St. Lawrence. He always offered words of encouragement to me. I am sure his family will miss him greatly but he is in a much better place now having left this world with a great legacy. My prayers and good thoughts to his family. Dan McAlpin
