Daniel Zeis Obituary
Daniel G. Zeis, 67, of Amelia, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Anderson Mercy Hospital surrounded by family. He was born February 22, 1950 in Cincinnati, son of Joan Zahn Zeis of Trenton, OH and the late Richard "Dick" Zeis. He was married to Debby Parker Zeis, who survives, for 13 years. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Jesse (Corinne) Ramsey, Carrie (Dave) Gamble, George (Sarah) Zeis, Jason (Sarah) Ramsey and Erin (Kyle) Rumke; grandchildren, Cierra, Abby, Rio, Kaia, Jameson and Henry; siblings, Nancy (Chuck) Donathan, Sheila (Denny) Sand, Jeff (Peggy) Zeis, Mary (Mark) Hudson, Becky (Lou) Motz and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Zeis. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, August 14, 2017 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Union Township, where military graveside services will be conducted.
