Longbottom (nee Vice); devoted father of Dennis (Carol) Longbottom, Karen Longbottom, Patrice (Dale) Lehmann, and Mark Longbottom; Dear grandfather of Joe Longbottom, Jaime (Andy) Sterwerf, Michele (Travis) Williams, Sara Mullins, Kevin Mullins, Ashley Lehmann and Amanda Lehmann and great-grandfather of Tyler and Brian Williams. Loving brother of Leo Longbottom, Woodrow (Laura) Longbottom, Mary Schleyer, Helen Rodgers and the late Thomas, Lawrence, and John Longbottom. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. February 5, 1920 to December 24, 2005, age 85. Residence Colerain Twp. Fifty nine year member of DAV Chapter 115, also member of VFW Post 15036, American Legion, Galion, Ohio and Boy Scouts of America serving as Scout Master Troup 603 Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
