Cincinnati - Joseph W. Ruwe beloved husband of Virginia M. (Nee: Chaney) Ruwe. Loving father of Joseph (Sarah) Ruwe and Katie (Mike) Schanne. Devoted grandfather of Andrew, Austin, Jonathan, Cooper, Claire and Peyton. Cherished brother of James (Peggy) and Roger (Beth) Ruwe. Dear brother-in-law to Linda (Tom) Raphael, Richard (Janet) and Steve (Jeanine) Chaney. Also survived by numerous other family and friends. Passed away on August 5, 2018 at the age of 68 years. Visitation will be Thurs. Aug. 9th from 5:00 - 7:00P.M. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will be Fri. Aug 10th 10:30 A.M. at St. Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman, 45238. If so desired memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, DAV, P.O. Box 14301, 45250-0301. www.radelfuneral.com

I was deeply saddened by the news of Joe's passing! I worked with Joe at Columbia Sussex and he was the enclypedia of purchasing for the Company! It amazed me how he always knew where and how to get everything for us in the field! Rest In Peace Joe and our condolences to you Ginny and your family!

To the Ruwe family: I had the pleasure of working with Joe for over 20 years at Columbia Sussex. He was a joy to work with and someone I could count on during some of the crazy times we had. I was fortunate to have known him. In your time of sorry I hope its is some small comfort knowing that Joe had a very position influence on a great many people, of whom I was one.

What a wonderful guy! He loved his family and
was so proud of his kids and loved those grand kids! He was missed when he retired from Columbia Sussex and know he will be sorely missed now by all that knew him. May his family remember all of the wonderful memories they shared and laughter along the way. May you rest in heaven sweet Joe.

Dear Ruwe Family: Mark and I are so very sorry. Even though it has been 30+ years since we were Heavenly Lane neighbors, we still are grateful for getting to know you. We love Joe and Ginny. It's hard to find the words to express the grief that comes with his passing. He was such a pillar to our neighborhood, and his legacy of friendliness and a heart-felt yello', and the earnest, experienced ya know' stories for the people around him will stay within our hearts forever. My condolensces to his family. I'm sure he's cruising around with the top down in Heaven. We miss you Joe.
