I met Janet when I joined the McMillan staff in 1983.
She was always a welcoming and gracious person.
Janet was a talented creative teacher who gave all her students a wonderful start in education. Not only a talented teacher, she and her family were talented musicians, the Ruwe Fiddle family.
Thank You Janet for sharing your excellence in teaching to all your precious students and giving them a huge start.

I´m very sad to see that a dear teaching colleague has passed. She was a part of my life for many, many years. I´d think of her every day as I traveled down Eagle toward McMillan Elementary, as I imagined how such a busy intersection used to be her farm. It was so alive with kids, music, animals and a farm house, which I greatly envied.
I´ll never forget the kindness and support she showed me by attending a fundraising auction for my dad´s heart transplant. She gave so much to so many.
I was in awe of her stamina, commitment and creativity with her
K students. She was a very gifted teacher and connected so well with all of her little humans.
I´m glad Janet can go with God in peace but be with me whenever happy memories pop in. I´m bummed that she won´t be here for this next very important election. Maybe she can pull strings for us from Heaven. Rest Well, strong lady.

Janet and I taught Kindergarten together at McMillan Elementary and we had such a great partnership. Fun programs, art
, and educational programs. I also taught with Kendra at Lowell Scott. We had such fun teaching 8 th gr Careers. What a talented, fabulous family. My love and sympathy.

Janet was a very strong, talented, and special person. She was a teacher, neighbor, friend of 3 generations of our family. She was always so kind to each and every one of us. Janet and your family are in our prayers. Janet will be missed greatly!
