Leola HAMMELRATH Obituary

HAMMELRATH Leola J. (nee Hommel), beloved wife of the late Edward Hammelrath and Gerald J. Roach. Dear mother of Eileen (Bill) Smith and Marianne (Dave) Kraus. Loving grandmother of Jerry and Emily Kraus and Maggie and Adrianne Smith. A lifelong resident of Cheviot/Cincinnati, she passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 after more than 88 years. She was an active member of the Civic Assoc. and the Cheviot Fire Assoc. Goldenaires. After a career as an opthamologist's assistant, she was a volunteer at Mercy-Franciscan Hospital until her move to Northern Virginia in the summer of 2001 to be close to her daughters. Visitation Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood, with burial immediately following at Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.| www.neidhardminges.com
