MCKEE

Llewelyn Thomas "L.T." III, resident of The Seasons, Cincinnati, OH born November 12, 1928, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the age of 85. He was the older brother of Harriet Blackburn McKee & Hughes Blackburn McKee, who survived him, and younger brother of both the late Sally McKee Tarkington and John Brown McKee Jr. Devoted husband of the late Rachel Kuderer McKee & Pat Reeder McKee. He leaves behind his family of four children, Georgia McKee Stelzer, Llewelyn Thomas McKee IV, Kuderer Churchill McKee and Holly McKee Rooney. Their spouses, J.T. Stelzer, Coyla Fitzgerald McKee, Joanne Stutzman McKee and Kevin James Rooney. Eleven grandchildren, Rachel Stelzer Phipps (Ryan), Paul Joseph Stelzer, Nicklaus Ryan McKee (Laura), Shealan Christine McKee, Noah Mora Stelzer (Lindsey), Dr. Natalie Kristin McKee, Caitlin McKee Huntzinger (Brock), Meaghan Blackburn McKee, Sean Thomas Rooney, Ian James Rooney and Padraic Llewelyn Rooney and 2 great grandchildren, Barrett Edward McKee and Georgia Lee Phipps. LT graduated from Terrace Park High School (1947) & Miami University (1951). Having sold screws throughout the late 1960s & early 1970s, he started manufacturing them with his partner in 1974, forming Midwest Fastener Corporation, which they sold to Alcoa in 2000. LT then retired to Sarasota. He believed in hard work and helping out whenever he could. He deeply loved his wife and children. Quick to smile or yell, he focused his life and love wholly upon his family. Private Memorial Service at Spring Grove Cemetery, where he will reunite with his mother Betty Blackburn McKee, father John Brown McKee and wife Rachel Kuderer McKee
