I am horribly sorry for the loss of the Distal family. I know Ms. Distel so well. She is my fifth grade teacher and the coolest one, too. I will say, I never knew Matthew Distel but what I do know is that Ms. Distel and her family loved him so. I feel so bad for Matthew Distel because he only lived to be 39. R.I.P now and forever Matthew Distel.
I love you Ms. Distel.
Love,

To Mike's family. We knew Mike from the neighborhood, and the news of his passing has just reached us. He truly was a great person, and we send you our condolences. Mike was such a friendly person who we looked forward to knowing further. He will be missed around here. We are so sorry for your loss.

May God, who is the source of all comfort and strength be with your family and give them what they need at this time. (Matthew 5:4) I will keep your family in my prayers.

Dave, Lois and every member of the Distel family: Words will never express the pain and sorrow I feel for each of you. So many memories, laughter, fun, shared sadness and losses. The Distels make up a part of my heart which is now aching for all of you. Though we have been occupied on our own paths in life, you all will always be especially dear to us. My tears fall while my prayers rise for comfort from God's angels for each of you.
We love you all.
