So sorry for your loss - at least she had the last several years after the transplant in good health & was able to enjoy everyone still. I'm sure she is in bliss now.

My sympathies to the Hamm,Maciag and Mueller Families.... I went to Seton High School with Nancy, back in the Sixties! In fact,it was a post card, from the school, that gave me the bad news, today! I am in shock and so saddened, that a long-lost Friend is gone! When Nancy first got her little blue car,at sixteen, she tried to teach me to drive, but,we almost ran into a tree...so lessons were quickly over! We cruised around in that car to all the Hot Spots...Frisch's and the Drive-Ins,to name a couple! With her bubbly personality and hearty laugh,we attracted a lot of "boys",not to mention,we were a couple of good- looking chicks! We went to Seton Proms, with our respective dates, and, double dated, often! A couple of class reunions, brought us back together,10,and 20 years later, but after running into each other,a couple of times, and promising to call and catch up,we lost touch! The most poignant memory, was an early morning call,1972, when our Sons were newborns...Nancy told me her beloved Mom had passed away...we sobbed and cried, and sat in silence for a while to compose ourselves...my heart was breaking for her! At least now,she can be with her Mom and Dad,maybe over on Greenwell and Duebber,in that cute little house of her childhood! All this rhetoric and these reminiscences are for me...to assuage my conscience, for not being a better friend...Sorry,Nancy,my old Friend, you will be missed! Her spirit will be felt by many,as her big personality and bigger laughter resounds in places, where she has been! Vaya Con Dios...Go with God!

Nancy was a true mentor to me at P&G when we shared an office for 2 years until her retirement. We would go for a power walk every day, rain or shine, and if I couldn't go, she would fire up her Walkman (cassette) with a book tape and strike off. She taught me the power of story telling, and when she retired, I took over this role of educating and telling "hair care" stories. She coached me through a nasty boss and welcomed my second child. She was one of my favorite people of all time at P&G (I've been there 24 years)as she instilled more learning and coaching than any manager I ever had, though she was my peer. She left a mark on many of our lives. Peace be with you my friend.
