HELD

Paul H. Passed away Sept. 11, 2011 at age 89. He was predeceased by his parents Carl and Ruth (nee Dorsey) Held and brothers Carl and Bob. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Page) for 66 years. Devoted father of Donna (William) Sutherland, David and Dennis (Kathy) Held. 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Veteran of WWII. A Marine in the ETO. Past Commander of Halker-Flege A.L. Post 69. Past Chef de Gare of 40/8, State and County offices. Little League Manager for 12 yrs and 20 yrs of helping handicapped bowling in Norwood. He also played saxophone in the Marines and Halker-Flege band and his own Combo. Visitation Thurs. Sept. 15th from 1PM until time of Service at 2PM, both at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home 10211 Plainfield Rd (just south of Glendale-Milford Rd). www.mrfuneralhome.com

I never had the opportunity to meet Paul;however, I have heard many great stories of Paul's good deeds. He surely was a great man.Paul will be missed by many people whom he has helped and was their friend.
