This is Ralph Allendorf's son, Bill. Richard and I were cousins. We had not seen each other in many years, but I wanted to let you know that we are very sorry to hear of Richard's passing and our hearts go out to family. On behalf of my mother, Cathy, my wife Angie and my sons, William, John, and Brendan, I would like to extend our condolences.

I join my friend Robert in expressing my sadness of the loss of Richard.
May light eternal shine on him. And may Robert find some comfort. I am reminded of our loss of Christopher as well.

As a friend for over 40 years, I am devastated over Richard's death. He was always gracious and generous to everyone. I shall miss him for the rest of my days. I am grateful that I was able to speak to him in his Hospice room on the telephone on the night of his birthday. His passing will leave a void in the lives of all his friends.
