Stephen Lierer Obituary
Stephen Paul (Vietnam Veteran) Passed away peacefully on February 24, 2016 at the age of 66; Beloved son of Elizabeth Lierer and the late Paul Lierer; Devoted 20-year companion of Phyllis Bell and her daughter, Chelsea; Caring brother of Sue (Robert) Stockmeier, Melody (Tim) Smith, and Paula (Anthony) Joyce; Also survived by daughter Melissa Lierer and grandsons Cooper and Cameron, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and siblings Jeff, Daniel, and Samuel. Steve loved spending his time with children- especially his grandsons. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, coonhunting, playing hockey, and farming. Steve was an active member of the VFW and the DAV, as well as several coonhunter association clubs. Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Rd., Cincinnati on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 9:30am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Adopt a Student Program at St. John the Baptist Church. Condolences may be left for the family at www.neidhardyoungfuneralhome.com

Steve and Phyllis, we had such a good time when you two visited us. Steve had a ball picking up all of our leaves. He loved the pontoon boat, he looked so relaxed and happy when he was driving the boat. He will be so missed, we were looking forward to him and you being our new neighbor. Love you both
