Back in the seventies when I worked at Stumps Lanes I was always at the hardware store ,most times Steve and I would share jokes back and forth till our sides hurt. Hard to believe all this time has passed an now my buddy too? I know God has a place for all of us ,But its times like this that make you want to second guess your faith. So young and such a genuine great guy .I will see you again my friend till then keep them laughing...

Stevie will never be forgotten. He was warm and funny and loving. Always a kind word and an enormous and sincere smile on his face and an enthusiastic greeting when he saw you. I remember so clearly and so fondly the Harry and Dorothy Meyer Family Christmas parties in the 70s! In fact, I am going to find the 8mm tapes that were grainy and vintage of all of the Meyer cousins running and dancing in the clubhouse of Grandma and Grandpa Meyer's clubhouse on Chalet Drive. Stevie let us all get on his shoulders and carried us around. Having only sisters, that was pretty fun to have a teenage guy toss you up there! My heart breaks for Maria and Nicholas and all who loved him. I am so touched reading all the tributes. What a testament to who Stevie was. How lucky we are were to have known and loved Stevie. RIP my dear cousin. I'll never ever forget you. Love, Barbara Burke

I always enjoyed when Steve waited on me at the store. He always had that big smile and always could figure out what I was looking for. To Steve's family I am truly sorry for your loss.
