Tarak Underiner Obituary
Tarak Andrew Underiner, age 20, was taken from us on Thursday, January 5th, 2017. Though his time on earth was cut short, his intelligence and passion affected so many. Tarak was a staunch believer in speaking out in order to effect change, and his eloquent quotes were featured in numerous media outlets. He graduated summa cum laude from Colerain High School in 2014 and was a junior at The Ohio State University, studying marketing with a minor in Spanish. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout while in Boy Scout Troop 98. His future plans included law school and study overseas utilizing his talent for the Spanish language. In his free time, Tarak enjoyed traveling, hiking, skiing, and working out. He is survived by his parents, Todd and Angeli (née Mehta), his dog, Ace, and his sisters, Asha and Reena, as well as several grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tarak is now with his older brother, Akash, and grandfather, Dharm Mehta. He will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10th from 4 PM to 8:30 PM at the Ogle & Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 10:30 AM at Monfort Heights United Methodist Church 3682 West Fork Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45247. Interment at Oak Hills Cemetery (Cincinnati, OH). If you wish to donate in lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Tarak's memory for Pets In Need or the SPCA.
