Walter (Wally) Flender Jr.

Cincinnati - Wally was born March 11, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Walter and Marie Flender. Graduate of Western Hills High School. Wally passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Beverly Flender, brother, Ronald (Sharon) Flender, two children, Eric (Tracey) Flender, Gregg (Cheryl) Flender; 5 grandchildren, EJ (Caitlin) Flender, Kelli (Ben) Hatch, Brett Flender, Evan Flender and Sigrid Flender; 3 great grandchildren, Stella and Gunnar Flender and Myla Hatch. He is preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Herzog and his brother in law, Tom Herzog. Wally was a Certified Dental Technician and the former owner of Flender Dental Laboratory. Past President of the Greater Cincinnati Dental Laboratory Association. Founder of Covedale Athletic Association, coached Knothole Baseball for over 20 years. Elected to the Price Hill Baseball Old Timers Hall of Fame, the Price Hill Knothole Hall of Fame and the Knothole Club of Greater Cincinnati Hall of Fame. Active member of Price Hill - Western Hills Kiwanis. Wally loved his family, friends and helping other people. He always brought a smile to your face.
