ANN McMAHAN HONEYCUTT

Asheville - Quitsy "Ann" Nellieann McMahan Honeycutt, age 88, formerly of Weaverville, died Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Ann was born October 15, 1929 in Buncombe County to the late Ernest Almond and Frances Elizabeth Lindsay McMahan. She lived in Powdersville, SC from 1974 until 1993 when she returned to the mountains of NC. She attended the Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanford Wiley Honeycutt, Sr., who died in 1989; brother, Lawrence Eugene McMahan; sister, Edna M. Debruhl, and son-in-law, Jeffery Bryant.

Surviving are her daughters, Paula Jones and husband, James, and Elizabeth Bryant; son, Stanford W. Honeycutt, Jr.; sister, Betty Sheppard; grandchildren, April Penley and husband Billy and Harrison Bryant.

Her graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Reverend Duane P. Corle will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Avenue, Weaverville, NC 28787.

Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
