Barbara Hague Obituary
Leicester - Barbara Carver Hague, 80, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge.
A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. She retired as former owner & operator of Barbara C. Hague Income Tax Service, and was a member of Newfound Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hague was a daughter of the late Toliver Clarence Carver and Ollie Ada Hensley Carver. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Louie Carver and wife, Mary; brother-in-law, Jack Williams and nephew, Mitch Carver.
Surviving are her husband whom she married January 6, 1979, Wayne Hague of the home; daughter, Angela Hague Thomas (Travis) of Lexington, KY and Andrea Hague Menjivar (Dennis) of Knoxville, TN; step sons, Dan Hague (Jennifer) of Cary and Brian Hague (Elizabeth) of Orange Park, FL; grandchildren, Averie, Collin, Ada, Ella, Giovanny, Gretchen, Olivia, William and Evelyn; sister, Christine Williams and brothers, Julian Carver (Peggy) and Kyle Carver (Judy) all of Leicester, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Newfound Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 PM Saturday at the church.
The family respectfully request that masks be worn.
