Dorothy Scherb Obituary
Weaverville - Dorothy "Dottie" Scherb, age 65, of Weaverville, died Friday, December 26, 2014.
Mrs. Scherb was born March 16, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY. Dottie was the former secretary of Flat Creek Baptist Church and bookkeeper for Dr. Mark Nance of Weaverville Chiropractic. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Cipolla and Clara Violante Caballer.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Gregg Scherb; son, Mark Furrer; brother, Charles Cipolla; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Autumn, and Parker; and her niece Christine Waller and her children Donald and Matthew.
Her memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Rev. Jack Roberts officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.
