Frances Roberts Obituary
Asheville - Frances Baldwin Roberts, departed this life peacefully surrounded by family at Elizabeth House on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was born on April 23, 1929 to the late A. Luther and Tempie Wilkie Baldwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Roberts; her daughter, Donna Roberts Cannady; her brothers, Abert and Ray Baldwin; a sister, Sarah B. Moore and two son-in-laws, Don Cunningham and Jeff Crenshaw.
She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Roberts Banner, Patricia Roberts Crenshaw, Tracy Roberts Barton and her husband, Graham; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sister, Polly B. Ferguson and her brother, Jack Baldwin.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 337 Charlotte Street, with The Rev. Brent Norris celebrating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 337 Charlotte Street, Asheville, NC 28801 or to the Elizabeth House, 221 N. Main Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
