Terrell, NC - Jackie Marguerite Warrick Cline, 83, of Terrell, NC, passed away Monday October 20, 2014 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Jackie was born November 17, 1930 in Asheville, NC to the late Jess and Selma Cooper Warrick.
Jackie graduated from Appalachian State with a teaching degree and taught in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system for 30 years. She was a member of the Eastern Band - Cherokee Indian. Jackie loved traveling, gardening, reading and shopping. She also enjoyed her time with her breakfast group, lunch group and bunco group.
Along with her parents, Jackie, was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Fulton Cline.
Jackie leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family; daughters, Susan Cline Council and her husband, Bob, of Mooresville, NC, Christy Cline Flake and her husband, Richard, of Terrell, NC; grandchildren, Robert Council, Jr. and wife, Tara, Kimberly Council, Janelle Bess and husband, Jeff; sister, Betty Gilman of Asheville, NC; niece, Carla Bailey and nephew, Mike Heaton, both of Atlanta, GA; and beloved dog, Buffy.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 - 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church, P.O. Box 218, Mars Hill, NC 28754.

Dear Betty , I was saddened to hear of Jackie's passing just today from a classmate from Long Creek School. Jackis and I have visited over the years and laughed about our wild escapades on Long Creek in the big Buick. and also in Mars Hilll when I visited mher, Selma and JD. We also went on a mission trip to Cancun to give mout Christmas boxes to the Mayan Indian Children. Always laughed alot and had a good time together. We would also visit when she came to Winston Salem with her group. I shall miss her and will always remember her and her Mom and Dad. With be regards. Anne Scott Ford Geis ([email protected]
