Mr. Ruff was an amazing teacher! I will never forget his gentle manner. He provided an opportunity for me to see the world! Our trip to Europe was a lifelong memory I will never forget. I saw Mr. Ruff one day a couple years ago in Ingles. I have moved away and was only visiting...this was some 18 years after being in his class. I knew exactly who he was, and being a teacher myself, I didn't expect him to remember me that many years later. Well...he not only remembered me, but knew my name, and reminisced of memories past! What an amazing man of service, and true dedication to others! We should all strive to live a life like him. Prayers to Mrs. Ruff and his family!

Zeata and family....our hearts hurts at this loss...Jim was a true gentleman and friend as well as family...I enjoyed talking with him about our past generations...he was a very smart and intelligent man...May God's Love, Grace and Comfort be with you all now and the coming days...

UNCLE JIM WILL BE MISSED .WE HAD OUR SHARE OF GOOD AND BAD TIMES.HE ALWAYS WAS THERE IN A FLASH WHEN WE NEEDED HIM.SKYE LOVED HER GREAT UNCLE,WE HAVE SO MANY REMINDERS.AND HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN .HE LEFT HIS MARK ON THIS WORl D AS A 'GREAT MAN'.A FRIEND AND FAMILY TO ALL THAT HE CAME IN CONTACT WITH.TIM,BETTY JO AND SKYE BUG
