I wish there were more teachers like you. No matter what I needed you stayed to help and made sure I understood the problem before I left. You were the best teacher I ever had and will be greatly missed.

Jan Morgan was one of the most influential people of my life. She is a majority of the reason I am becoming a math teacher myself. I hope that I can be even a fraction of the teacher she was and we should all aspire to be as good a person as her.
She will be missed beyond measure.

Ms. Morgan was for sure one of the best teachers. She made math fun & easy to learn. She always had a way to keep our attention, with her funny stories and her gift of teaching. May GOD bless her family.

Ms. Morgan was a wonderful person and left an amazing legacy by touching so many lives. She battled cancer the first time when I was in her class. I will always remember her strength and courage. I wasn't even a "fan" of math, yet she remains one of my favorite teachers.

Ms. Morgan was a wonderful teacher and mentor, I went to her class many mornings before school started to get her help, even though I failed geometry she tried to hammer it in. She saw when I was going through tough family times and was always there for me to talk to. She was a great person and will be greatly missed by all of her former students.

Linda and Diane,
I haven't seen you all in many years. I remember spending time at both Bancroft Bible Camp and Hendersonville with you and your family. I have kept up with you all through Alice Ann over the years. I am so sorry for your loss of Jan. She is thankfully not suffering and is able to see family and friends who are able to share her glorious home coming. May God give you comfort during this time. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers through this time.
Sincerely,
Bethany Tilley (Kingsport, Tn)

Ms. Morgan was truly an inspiration and positive influence in my life. As an artist, Math was never my strong suit. Still, I remember one eureka! moment in Ms. Morgan's Geometry class when the formulas and concepts clicked. She was a gifted teacher, and an exceptionally caring person. She will be missed.

Jan Morgan was, by far, the greatest teacher I've ever had. The passion she showed when teaching was outstanding. She made sure we knew what we were doing to the point where almost our whole class aced the AP exam. She also made clear her faith, even during class. She was a great teacher and a huge inspiration. She will be missed dearly

I had the privilege to know Jan during her treatment at Hope. Her love for others was evident and her courage inspiring. Her quick wit and unique sense of humor always kept us on our toes. She will be deeply missed.

I graduated Erwin almost 20 years ago and have always remembered Ms Morgan! I was even thrilled that my own teenage daughter had her as a teacher. I'm so glad that I was able to be in her class and see what an amazing woman that she was.
She will be missed by so many people that love her.
My sympathy for her family and friends because I know this is such a difficult time.
With love,

Jan Morgan, was a great woman, even though I never had the privilege to be in her class. She was always walking through the math hallway keeping her spirits up no matter what she was going through. She had such a great impact on her students and co-workers, and will be missed. Praying for the family in their time of loss.
