Jonathon Craig Obituary
SWANNANOA - Jonathon "Chip" David Craig, 27, of Swannanoa, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011.
Chip was born December 22, 1983 in Buncombe County where he lived all of his life. He was a sweet and loving son, grandson, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Chip was a talented artist who loved to paint and draw. He took pride in being an Assistant Manager with Dollar General Stores and knew his customers by name.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, David L. Craig and William C. Anderson.
Chip is survived by his mother, Hilda Anderson (Eddie) of Asheville; father, Ron Craig (Shella) of Swannanoa; grandmothers, Pat Craig of Swannanoa and Helen J. Anderson of Asheville; great grandmother, Lottie Craig of Swannanoa; sister, Jamie Lee Hensley and brother, William James Hensley both of Asheville; stepbrothers, Michael, Ryan and Eli Webb; special cousins, Felisha, Brittany, Bethany, Ryan and Megan and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with the Rev. Lanny Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m., prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted and appreciated.

I didn't know him or his immeadiate family but I know his cousins and I know they are grieving tremendously, so I can only imagine what the whole family is going through at this time. I would like to say I am very sorry for your loss and if there is anything I can do for you in your time of need please just let me know. I am deeply sorry for what you are going through.
