Larry Penix Obituary
Penix
Marshall - Larry Steven Penix, 44, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at his residence.
A native of Buncombe County, Larry was a son of Steve and Nancy B. Penix of Asheville. He worked at Grace Healthcare of Asheville as a CNA and was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by a brother, David Penix and his wife, Elisha and was uncle of Sydney, Jordan, Madison and Joshua.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor Larry Appleby and Rev. Doug Guy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family request that memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.

I have known Larry for many years he was a good friend in witch i will always cherish the memories i have my heart goes out to his family and other friends to have knew him was a joy i will love you always my friend (pretty)

I am so sad to hear about your loss. Starting in grade school we often sat next to each other since I was an "O" and he was "P"! Larry was always joking and laughing with me. Many of us from school were sad to hear of his passing. I will keep the family in my prayers.
