Reva Sawyer Obituary

Reva T. Sawyer

Swannanoa - Reva T. Sawyer, 80, of Swannanoa passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013.

Mrs. Sawyer was born June 1, 1933 in Buncombe County. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Reva was a talented seamstress and was active in her church. She retired after many years in the insurance business.

Reva is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nellie Teague; and sisters, Wilma Chambers and Eva Prestwood.

Reva is survived by her loving husband, Jack Sawyer; son, John A. Love, Jr. of Juneau, Alaska; brothers, Denver Teague of Knoxville, TN and Leonard Teague of W. Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with the Pastor Don Scott officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Burial will be in the Bee Tree Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Harwood Home for Funerals.
