Roy Iii Obituary
Arden - Roy Jackson Bomar passed away Oct. 5, 2013 in Arden, NC.
Roy was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on May 15, 1952. He is survived by his sisters, Lenn Jackson (Charlie), Navarre, FL, and Ann Lacy, Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by John Ben and Millie Bomar of Tuscaloosa, and brother, Col. John Ben Bomar, Jr. Roy graduated from Tuscaloosa High School and the University of Alabama with a Biology degree. He loved nature, birds, dogs, and most of all Alabama football.
A memorial service will be held in Tuscaloosa at a later time. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to their local animal rescue shelter or favorite charity.
