Thomas Putnam Obituary
Navarre, FL - It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Thomas
(Tommy) Putnam on March 29, 2017 in Navarre, FL., at the age of 75.
Born in Haywood County Tommy lived in Buncombe county for the most of his life.
He owned and worked at Putnam's Body Shop for 48 years.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Zora and his beloved grandson Coty Cole and wife Heather, all of FL. Brother Robert Putnam and sister Virgie Head, both of Haywood County. Several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter Tonia Putnam, mother Lula Burnette 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
He was a 32nd mason and belonged to the Shriner's and Oasis.
Tommy loved and cared for his family he was a great provider for his wife, grandson and grand-daughter-in-law. He loved Coty's friends and loved being around them.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be performed by Pastor Mark Lewis at Bethel Baptist Church on Ben Lippen Road, Asheville on April 8th 2017 at 4:00 p.m.

So sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. He always did quality work and we had some good times at his Christmas meals over the years. It was a pleasure handling claims at Tommy's shop with Crawford & Company and Nationwide over the years. Tommy, you were a good man, gave much and expected little. Eternal peace, my friend.
