Alex J. Lulis, 90, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully with his niece, Sharon, by his side on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, at Allied Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Aug. 5, 1934, in Plymouth Twp., he was the son of the late Alexander Lulis and Helen Prego Lulis. Alex was a graduate of Harter High School, Plymouth Twp., and Wilkes-Barre Business College. He was a veteran serving with the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, SCI Dallas as a budget analyst.
Alex was an avid collector of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and baseball memorabilia. He enjoyed spending time outside especially mowing his lawn.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his sister, Helen Kaminski.
Surviving are his nieces, Sharon Kaminski Carol and her husband, Michael A. Carol, DMD; and Patricia Mark and her husband, Alex Mark; and great nephews, Andrew Mark, esquire and Lucas Mark.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family from S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth. Interment was in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Twp.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the passing of Al.
We worked together for many years at SCI Dallas and I have fond memories of those days.
I´ll never forget Al's sense of humor, his kindness and the way his smile could brighten our day.
