Caroline Collins Obituary

Caroline M. Collins, 66, of Parsonage Street, Hughestown, passed away Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009 in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late David and Rose Luke Frew.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Francis; twin daughters, Kimberly Ann Taddei and her husband, Randolph, Wyoming; and Renee Matalenas and her husband, George, Dupont; granddaughters, Kayla Marie and Kristina Lynn Taddei; sisters, Rosemary Cassotti, Old Forge; Bernice Pieczynski, Pittston; and Geraldine Delconti and her husband, James, Pittston; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, Hughestown. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m.
