Celebrating the life of a wonderful man and mourning his passing with you.
Frank was a beloved family friend. A sweet, kind man and a talented artist. I had the pleasure of traveling with him to Egypt in 1985. He was so much fun as we climbed inside the great pyramid and Frank got into the sarcophagus, put his flashlight to his face & began moaning! He startled a few fellow travelers, as we laughed out loud. We also danced on our Nile riverboat cruise during talent night, dressing up as pharaohs & Egyptian queens. Always smiling and so interesting to talk with about his love of life, art, and history.
Luckily we would keep in touch over the years, as he attended my wedding, numerous travel reunion lunch get togethers, and he even held a paper cutting workshop at his home to show me how it is done. He made it look very easy, but it certainly wasn´t! Many of his delicate intricate art pieces hang inside my home. I looked forward to his homemade Christmas card every year, as he highlighted his creative artwork.
Frank was commissioned by my parents to design and craft a 16´ foot high totem pole, depicting our family history and numerous travel destinations. It is the centerpiece of the backyard. I mention Frank´s name proudly and often when visitors or workman come to our Lake Silkworth summer home, and admire his unique totem pole creation.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
