Gregory Sayre Obituary

Gregory D. Sayre, 53, of Trucksville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Greg was a loving father and a great friend who enjoyed life to its fullest. Greg served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked as a HVAC technician for Weis Markets for many years.

He is survived by a son, Tyler A. Sayre, Trucksville; his father and mother, Lawrence W. and June M. Rogers Sayre, Hughesville; a brother, Alan T. Sayre, Hughesville; his extended family, the Laibinis/Ashtons, Hanover Twp.; and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Doug W. Mellott officiating. Burial in Muncy Cemetery will be private. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
