Joanne Theresa DeLucia Kroski, 81, of Hughestown, passed away Thursday evening, Nov. 2, 2023, in Wesley Village.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Sunday, Oct. 8, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie Rucco DeLucia.
She was a graduate of Hughestown High School. In her earlier years, she had worked at Greco's Restaurant, Exeter, and The Golden Palace, Wilkes-Barre. She retired as a supply logistics representative for Geisinger. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Joanne was a strong, beautiful woman and will always be loved by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Kotlowski; and a brother, Joseph DeLucia Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Joseph J. Kroski; sons, Joseph Meranti (Hope), Jenkins Twp.; and Dan Meranti (Maureen), Hughestown; grandchildren, Joseph Meranti; Kathryn Lokuta (Mike); Ryan Meranti; and Robert Meranti; seven great-grandchildren; grandpuppies; brother, Daniel DeLucia (Betty), Harding; numerous nieces, nephews; and dearest friends.
Our family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Wesley Village for their kind and compassionate care given to Joanne and support to our family.
In accordance with Joanne's wishes, services are private and at the convenience of the family.
