To All the Baloga Family'

We were so sad to hear of John's passing, so soon after just seeing him at Christmas at John and Patti's. We were so fortunate to spend several holidays with him.He was always so generous to Mikaela at the holidays - she loved getting those surprise boxes in the mail.I have a video of John and my dad on the couch, chuckling at each other's stories and jokes.
And Alice, you did him a great service by urging him and helping him to write his book - a good read!
You have a beautiful family and we hope you find comfort and contentment in sharing stories of a life well lived.

It is with great sadness to learn the passing of your father. He was a hero in my eyes and a joy to be around. I still have the wooden cross he gave me from his trip abroad. Our love and prayers to the Baloga family.

It is with a heavy heart we the members of Rolling Thunder Chapter 3 PA, join the family and friends of Lieutenant John Baloga in mourning the loss of a brother in arms. His willingness to stand on the wall that separates good from evil and declare,” no harm will come to you tonight, not on my watch” made our life the most secure in the world. He was one of our greatist generation.
As an organization, Rolling Thunder Chapter 3 PA. Salute’s the memory of Liutenant John Baloga and the service he rendered his country.
The members of Rolling Thunder Chapter 3 PA believe when John came face to face with our lord Jesus, the first words he heard were, “welcome home, good and faithful servant”.
