My mom and dad, Mike and Melody, talked about visits with John and Barb with the biggest smiles on their faces. So much so that I feel like I have memories of John even though I only met him once. I especially remember a time when you all took the pontoon boat out on Harveys Lake. To have kept in touch and enjoyed friendships for nearly 60 years is such a blessing. Love and prayers.

Barb,
Our condolences to you and your family on the passing of John. I first met John when I started dating his cousin, Hilda, who lived next door to him. I realized that John was always enjoyable to be around. We had many memorable times together, hayrides, marching band, swimming at numerous mountain lakes, ice hockey on the pond above Warrior Run. This was made possible because John was a year older and could drive and had the Old 48? plymouth or dodge. Because of John and Hilda I eventually felt I was a part of Warrior Run and the good times John was the director of. He will be missed by all and especially his family. God bless him and may he rest in peace.

RIP John. I remember some glorious times we and the "Beaumont St Gang of guys and gals" shared in the 40's and 50's. Your mom treated us to the most delicious home-made pies and the water from your backyard hose in sizzling summers was the sweetest. You went on to become a pillar in the borough through your contributions and service to others. You can and will certainly rest in peace "Johnny".

It seems like just yesterday that the two of you started dating during your high school days back on Westminster St. John was such a gentleman and swept you off your feet!
You enjoyed a wonderful life together and raised a lovely family. May your memories sustain you in the days ahead and may your family continue to grow in love and peace just as John would have encouraged.

Dearest Barbara and Family. I offer my deepest condolences to all of you. I go back to memories of over 60 years ago. When a tall, handsome lad started dating our beautiful next door neighbor. All of us 12 year old teeny boppers had a little crush on John. Does anyone still open the car door for the girl.... Then walk around the car to get into his drivers side? Barb, I send you my love and peaceful thoughts. RIP John

My sincere condolences to the entire Bath family. This family will never be forgotten! Eva and George raised a beautiful family. John´s mom used to bring homemade apple pies over to my mother on Beaumont St. I grew up in Warrior Run and knew all of the Bath family. Effie would visit me when she visited FL and kept me up on the family. In our younger years my brother, Carl, and I have great memories of playing up on Chestnut St. It was a great place to grow up in, and still is. John was a real asset to his community and church. I know he was loved deeply and will be sadly missed. May God Bless you all with His Love, Comfort, and Peace. John is with Jesus now and is free from all pain and sorrow. You will all meet again. Much and to all the family and friends.

My Deepest Sympathy to the Bath family. My father was from Warrior Run. He lived there until about Sept. 1948. My father lived on Front St. So he would of still been living in the town when John was a child. My father also was a volunteer fireman and played in the band. He also belonged to a Lodge in Askam. Must of been the same lodge that John belonged to. I used to ride to the Lodge with my father for him to pay his dues. I remember they had a female Cocker Spaniel who just had pups and they gave one of the pups to my father for me. A black half Cocker I named Tubby. My first dog. I had him from 1959 to 1972.
I still have 2 cousins living in Warrior Run. Last names are Kish and Ellis/Knepper.
My father was Frank Yankoski (Fritzie). Through him I am the cousin of Pope John Paul II.
HIs parents were Adam & Josephine Kizielewicz Yankoski. My father died in 1966.
I am so sorry again for your loss.
May he rest in peace.
