Leonard D. "Lenny" Osiecki, 89, of West Pittston, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston on April 4, 1933, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes Sempa Osiecki. Lenny was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, Class of 1951. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He had been employed by Klein Auto for 35 years and prior to retirement, he had worked for D.G. Nicholas, Scranton. He was a member of the Greater Pittston American Legion, Post #542.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Osiecki.
Surviving is his wife, Ruth Ash Osiecki. They would have celebrated 65 years of marriage in August. Also surviving are sons, Joseph Osiecki and his wife, Susan, Harveys Lake; and Leonard A. Osiecki, West Pittston; grandchildren, Megan Osiecki and her fiancé, Jared Kepner, Hunlock Creek; and Rebecca Osiecki and her partner, Ronny Sosa, West Pittston; sister-in-law, JoAnn Osiecki, Mountain Top; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.

It has been quite a few years since I was in the Pittston neighborhood .Lenny and I joined the Air Force the same day along with John M from Dupont. and Joe S.
You may recall we have a number of mutual relatives through your brother and aunts and uncles.
