Paul Joseph Gattuso, 60, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Yatesville, March 1, 1962, he was the son of the late Peter P. Gattuso Sr. and Ruth Ann Perrins Gattuso.
Paul attended Pittston schools and had worked at Techneglas for many years.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Scrub Oaks Hunting Club, Bear Creek.
Paul was a people person; he was always ready to lend a hand to help others. He will be truly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Peter P. Gattuso Jr.; and sister, Linda Nalaschi.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Tina Castellino Gattuso; sons, Paul Gattuso (Maureen Cravath), Parsippany, N.J.; and Kyle Gattuso (Paige Danko), Hughestown; sister, Gail Williams (Kyle), Texas; sister-in-law, Nancy Gattuso, Rhode Island; mother-in-law, Grace Castellino, West Pittston; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Calabrese (Ray), Pittston, and Ann Hinkle, Dupont; brother-in-law, Jimmy Castellino (Lisa), Jenkins Twp.; uncles, Frank Gattuso (Beverly), Yatesville, and Paul Perrins (Lasandra), Dupont; aunt, Mary Radzwilka, Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Greenwald and his staff, Dr. Musto, Dr. Schiewicz and the nursing staff in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for the compassionate care they provided Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William St., Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church Monday morning. Interment will follow in St. Rocco's Cemetery, Pittston Twp. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.

Sorry for your loss. Paul was a neighbor of my parents in Yatesville when I got out of the army back in the 80's.. I can't even believe this. I remember we went running together around that time.
