Robert Danko Obituary
Born in Pittston on June 4, 1946, son of the late John and Susan Vidlicka Danko, he was a graduate of Exeter High School and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, West Pittston.
He enjoyed attending antique and classic car shows in Lancaster and Bloomsburg.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren at Knoebels Park, Elysburg.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Prior to his retirement in 2015, he was employed by Schott Optical, Duryea.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Russick, in 2007, and brothers, Eugene and John Danko.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Barbara Schobert Danko; sisters, Carol Wycoski and husband, Eugene, Exeter; and Susan Elko and husband, John, Exeter; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Friday. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Barb and Family, I was very saddened and sorry to hear about Bob. Dank was a great guy. I have alot of memories of being at your house with you and Bob and the rest of the family. All great. I know he will be missed by many people including myself. I am so sorry Barb.

The Car Shows at Carlisle were his favorite past time. He was like a kid at them. I miss you so much. And Bob had a God Child named Stanley Wycoski and many nieces and nephews. I will always love you forever and a day, till we meet again as God as planned, your loving wife Barb.
