Steven J. Kleiner II, 44, of Edwardsville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Steven was born May 1, 1980, in Sellersville, Bucks County, the son of Steven J. Kleiner and Denise Clark Kleiner. Steven was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School with the Class of 1999 and continued his education at the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, graduating in 2001. He was employed as a chef in many different areas and later worked in construction maintenance and property management until the time of his passing. Steven was an avid firearms safety advocate. He was a social member of the Loyal Order of Eagles and American Legion.
Steven's family includes his parents, Steven J. and Denise Clark Kleiner of Warren Center; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rhyan and Kristian Kleiner of Bloomsburg; Ellary Kleiner and Ashley Krause of Conklin, NY; nephews, Rhoan Kleiner and Pearce Kleiner; niece, Sabreena Kleiner; maternal grandmother, Barbara Clark-McElhaney; paternal grandmothers, Ida Benner and husband, Richard, and Helen Kleiner; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends whom he treasured.
Steven was predeceased by his brother, James Kleiner Clark in 1978; maternal grandfathers, William R. Clark and William M. McElhaney; and paternal grandfather, H. Joseph Kleiner Jr.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda. A funeral service will be held Friday, promptly at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Luke's Catholic Cemetery, Irish Hill Road, Warren Center.
