Thomas M. Reilly, 81, of West Pittston, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at his daughter Susan Reilly's home.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Thomas C. Reilly and Mary Coyne Reilly. Thomas was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary's School. He enlisted in the United States Army National Guard 109th and was an optician at Garden Village Optical. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and was a singer in the Barber Shop Quartet. Thomas was a member of the New Apostolic Church.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; son, Tom; and brothers, Michael and Pat Reilly.
Surviving are his children Susan, Nora and David Reilly, West Pittston; and Scott Reilly, Wilkes-Barre; his brother, Robert Reilly, Berwick; sisters, Molly Reilly, Plains Twp.; Kathleen Dempsey, Forty Fort; Nancy Reilly VanWhy, Ashley; and Noreen Reilly Romanchick, Swoyersville. He will be missed by his niece and nephew, and especially by his grandchildren, Susy and Sara, and his great-grandchildren, Luke, Lila and Stella.
The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family from Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
