William Tomaskovic Obituary
He was an veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Philippines during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Culero General Cigar Co. for 46 years. He was also a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Church, Pittston, and a member of the Pittston Senior Citizens Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in 2003, and brothers, George and John.
Surviving are his brother-in-law, Joseph Shedlock, Ramey; sister-in-law, Shirley Shedlock, Ramey; several nieces and nephews.
He will be sadly missed by longtime close friends, the Remus family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Ramey. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Ramey.
Friends may call Sunday, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
