My condolences on Aarons' passing. I think of an instance from years ago. Something that does not define Aaron, but, I believe is indicative of what I believe who he was/is, as a person. I ran on the Sprint Medley Relay with Aaron, at Topeka High. To make a very long story short, we fell way behind the other teams ( by the way, it was the state finals) you, due to our third leg. Aaron ran the race of his life. He would NOT give up trying to win. We we're SO FAR BEHIND. But, he refused to concede, as long as he had the endurance and enough distance to make a great challenge to the finish. I wish I could say we had won. But, he brought us from last place, to, by one one-hundredth of a second, into fourth place. Now, I don't know if this means anything to the family, but, this was the Aaron that I respected and admired. He was a matter of fact, funny, yet, serious guy. We, all of us, wanted that championship for each other. I wanted this for Aaron. Honestly. I had won a event, and in the same scenario I have described, Aaron got us INTO the state championship. I know this is not a defining moment of Aaron. I think it is an example of who I think Aaron was throughout his life . Caring about, and, doing what is necessary for other people. And, giving everything he had to that cause. EVERTIME. That is my experiences with the person that I knew. I wish we had many, many more Aaron Zlatnick's in the world. I will miss him, but, I have the memory of a great kid, and I wish to believe a great man. I am so sorry that I was not there to say goodbye. But, he will always be one of the Roosevelt Guys.

To Aaron's family, friends & all who's life's he touched, please accept Elena's & my deepest heartfelt thoughts, prayers & condolences.
It was was to our surprise and sorrow we read of Aaron's oh so early passing. His gift of musical talent is only matched by his desire to share that talent with his fellow Topekans!!!!! Not only was he a talented & accomplished musician, but he was a warm, compassionate, empathetic individual that I saw first hand working with him at Farm Bureau.
We wish to thank the family for sharing Aaron with the rest of us. Aaron was truly a Topeka Treasure & he definitely will be missed, not only by his family & friends, but by all who were entertained by him when he took the stage!!!
Aaron, Rest In Peace, Sir.
And a one and a two......

I worked with Aaron at Schendel, and he kind of took me under his wing when I was still a rookie technician. Being new in Topeka, I could get better directions from him than the city map. Aaron was always generous with his time and talent. I will miss his smile and our KU arguments, May God bless you, Cathy, and "his girls" as you continue life without him. He was a blessing to me and will be missed.
