Benedict H. "Ben" Harmon

Benedict "Ben" H. Harmon, 72, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Plaza West Care Center in Topeka. He was born July 16, 1937 in Missouri one of 12 children of the late James and Ann Moser Harmon. Mr. Harmon had worked at McCall's Pattern Company in Manhattan. He later worked for the East Topeka Senior Center and CIS Security. Mr. Harmon had lived in Topeka since June of 1986. He was a member of Joyful Harvest Church in Topeka. On April 14, 1973 he was united in marriage to Nila Lea Luttrell, she survives of the home. Other survivors include siblings, Sara Jackson, William Harmon, James Harmon, Finas Harmon, Peggy Glover, and Helen Standridge. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Valley View Cemetery in St. Marys.
