Hey Dave- i won't call u crazy dave knowing how much u hated that...but i will say the name did fit u well! you were an awesum person...and probably the funniest guy around! There is so much i could tell you right now but most of all i want to let you know how much you have changed our class! things just aren't the same w/you gone! but don't worry Ryan is keepin it real for ya...its so hard even saying his name w/out u right along with his! i remember the nite of the homecomming olympic games when i was right by u for the toilet paper game and u were havin the toughest time getting it over ur shoulder without it tearing...ill remember you forever...and happy early birthday! luv always

I know its been a long time since anybody has written in this guestbook but I'd just like to tell you all that David will always be remembered, no matter how many people sign this book. Even though its been a little while since David's death, he has never been forgotten. Everytime I stop and think about him I start to cry. Galen and Marilyn, you guys are awesome and I love talking to you about school and stuff. If I wasn't so busy I'd be over there everyday. We still miss you Dave, always will

I had fun working with you at Bob's. We didn't talk all that much at work and now I wish we had so I could have gotten to know you better. You were the greatest person that anyone could ever have as a friend..You were so much fun to hang out with..Even though most people don't think we knew each other that well because we didn't go to grade school together, i think we did since we lived in the same hood for a long time!..Maybe you don't remember it as well as i do, but that's alright. I didn't really know you but your dad and my mom are blood and so i guess that makes us blood. And when blood leave us there is a part inside us that leaves also. So a part of me has gone with you. So R.I.P and i will keep that piece of you that you left us all and i hope you keep that piece i send to you. Blood is love no matter what. Although I didn't know Dave that well my younger brother, Dylan, had only good things to say about him. For years he considered him one of his best friends, and his presence in our neighborhood will be greatly missed by all. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and classmates. Dave, I have already signed this once but I saw two poems that stuck in my heart forever and I will forever think of you when I hear them and the song "I'll be missin you" The poems are.. I didnt know dave but i heard alot about him. after i heard his last name i knew i was related to some lackeys but i didnt know if it was him. I talked to my dad the day after i heard about the accident and my dad told me i was related to him but farther down the line. i wish i could of meet him just once to know how nice of a cousin i had. im sorry for all his friends and family. we all will miss him alot!

I never really started to hang out with dave till this summer when baseball started. I believe it was the Holton game when i was up to bat all of a sudden i hear dave yell out OHBHAVE everyone started laughing. Thats how it was around dave, never a dull moment. Someone was always laughing. Dave was over at my house the day of homecoming. Ill never forget when i told him he was going to spill his milkshake, what does he do he hits it with his hand and it goes all over the couch.
