Our prayers are with you at this sad time. We are sorry for your great loss. Coach taught me so much about basketball and hard work while I played at WU. He was tough as nails but always followed up with his smile and laugh. I was privileged to know him. I am sorry we weren't able to make it to the memorial service today. May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort you at this time!

Coach Cafer was an amazing coach and person. I had the privilege of playing under him for four years as a Lady Blue. He was so knowledgeable of the game, but more than that, his passion for teaching the game and his passion for life made him so special. He touched so many and his memory will bless us for years to come. God bless you Coach! Brenda (Shaffer) Dahl

My condolences to the family. Coach Cafer was a great guy who made every student feel like part of the team. Many of my roommates at WU were basketball players and I never heard a bad word from them about their coach. He was an educator and a life coach and I use the values he taught of hard work and honest effort every day. We will miss him and remember him and he is in our thoughts especially right now.
