Our deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to both families.

We have many fond memories of both John & Zona. Growing up in Jersey City will always be remembered. We all shared a bond starting as early as kindergarten. Adventures, laughs and memories are forever.

God Bless.

Deb, John and Stimp, first of all I am so very sorry to hear of the tragic accident that took your parents lives. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families. One of the most in endearing memories of your dad is of him sitting in his chair in the corner of the living room watching the Simpsons during the first season and he was never quite laughing he just sorta moved his mouth a little bit. Zona, was one of the most thoughtful and caring human beings I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. She had this amazing laughter that seemed to be infectious to the room at large. I just want to once again say how terribly sorry I am for the loss of two amazingly wonderful, and special people.

I remember or parents well. We lived only a few blocks from them and my boys played with the kids. Thoughts and prayers for the family during this time of loss.

To the entire Berberich family-

Words escape me at this moment in time. There are no words that I can think of that could adequately express the depth of what all of you must be feeling now. I can only imagine. Just know that you are being thought of and remembered in prayer.

Sincerely,

Julie (Wiechert) Anderson

I would like to give my deepest sympathy to the family, may God wrap his loving arms around you all as you go through this difficult time. It's bad enough to have to say goodbye to one parent let alone both and only God knows why. I worked with John at the Golden Eagle Casino for some years and he was a nice person to work with.

I'd like to start off with telling the family how sorry I am for the loss of John & Zona. John was my boss at the Golden Eagle Casino he was a very caring person who had a heart of gold if our kids were selling something for school we could always count on John to help support them in what ever they was selling. I wont ever forget the fun memories of John dressed up as the Mad Hatter, Slinky Dog, and John Wayne for our Halloween costume contest every yr he was there. I would call Zona at home and let her no what John was to dress up as and she would work on getting his costume made. John even won first place in different events for his Mad Hatter costume. John will be truly missed by everyone who he touched there life. I know he touched all of us in our Accounting office as the last day he was there with us there were tears running down all of our faces as they are now hearing of his passing. Even after he left us at Casino we would call him on his Birthdays just to wish him a Happy Birthday. I never got to meet Zona in person but I spoke with her on the phone a lot what a sweet lady I always enjoyed talking with her. They both will be missed.
