Joseph Lower Obituary

WICHITA -- Joseph Lower, 94, passed away May 19, 2006. Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Following his retirement from Sherwin Williams, he was employed at the KU School of Medicine for 10 years. He was also active in Boy Scouts for 7 years. He was member of Mason Lodge, 32nd degree, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and Midian Shrine Lifetime Member. Visitation with family present, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Resthaven Mortuary. Service 1 p.m. Wednesday, Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Survivors: loving wife of 70 years, Lesta of Wichita; daughters, Nancy and husband John Brooks of Kansas City, MO., Linda Lower of Wichita; son, Steve and wife Sherri Lower of Wichita; grandchildren, Shelly Brooks-Smith, Vicki Brooks, Lisa Brooks, Janet Mosby, Jodi Lower, Miranda Lower; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter.
