Leonard Frances Guttridge, 90, went to be with our Lord, June 7, 2009, at St. Marys Health Center. Born August 27, 1918 in Bournemouth, England, he spent his youth in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. He enlisted in the British Royal Air Force at nineteen years of age as an aircraft mechanic specializing in the repair of fighter and bomber fuselages. To the Guttridge Family,
Len ... husband, father and grandfather ... was probably one of the sweetest, gentlest and kindest men I've ever known. I could listen to his stories forever! I feel blessed to have been a part of his life and your family.
May you find comfort in knowing he is now in the house of our Lord, free of pain and suffering.
He will truly be missed.
All my love,
Lisa
