May God bless the Deeter family as I know the separation is difficult. Mark was a great teacher. We were both part of a quartet at Seward Ave. Baptist when we were in high school. We used to have several guys who used to stay over at his family's home and had fun scouting the farmlands during the night. I have lost track of most of those guys but I'll always remember those good times. He is with his Lord now and at peace.

Mark was one of the 3 other babies born with me in the same hospital room in March 1941. We are losing him far too soon, but what a huge mark he made on the world with his life of love and kindness. Mark will be missed in many ways. He always laughed when I said that I was his oldest friend.
